All products are shipped FOB from our facility in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada.
Shipping costs are based on the weight and destination of your order. Rates are usually discounted. We do not add any surcharges.
Shipping Time To The USA
Overnight shipping from our location to the USA is not guaranteed for any courier service. Express shipping times are typically 1-3 business days.
Order Processing Time
Orders that contain all in-stock items and that are entered on our website before 12:00PM PST and that are to be shipped using UPS or a postal service are typically shipped the same business day. If the shipping method is FedEx or DHL, then your order will be shipped the next business day.
If your order contains one or more out of stock items or items that need to be produced, then we will only ship your complete order when we have all items available. The typical lead times for out of stock items is provided on our website. We will make every effort to ship your order on time, however projected ship dates are not guaranteed.
Duties, Import Fees, Brokerage & Taxes
Shipping fees do not include duties, import fees, brokerage fees or taxes. All fees above and beyond the standard shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
All prepaid shipments are fully insured against loss and damage.
If we are shipping using your own carrier account, then we will insure all shipments at half the total order value in the shipment unless you specifically request that the shipment not be insured.
We typically only ship orders complete. If you need us to ship part of your shipment right away, you need to contact us to make arrangements.
From time-to-time we may offer discounted and free shipping based on the value of your order and the shipping destination. Shipping discounts are automatically calculated based on the items in your cart. Discounted/Free Shipping offers may be discontinue at any time.
Duties, import fees, or taxes assessed by your country’s customs service or customs brokerage fees that are assessed by the carrier are the responsibility of the customer and are not covered by our discounted/free shipping offer.
Postal Shipping Times
Postal shipping times provided on our website are provided by Canada Post, are NOT guaranteed and can take longer on occasion. It has been our experience that while the shipping times provided by the post office are usually fairly accurate, there will be occasions were it will take longer. If you need your order be a specific date, we recommend that you use a UPS Expedited, UPS Express or DHL Express instead.
We can ship to the US via Mail or UPS. Shipments to the US are usually free of duty and brokerage fees if the total order value is less than US $800.00 (USD). Orders above this amount may require additional brokerage and duty charges which are collected by the shipping company at the time of delivery and are the responsibility of the customer.
We can ship to Canadian destinations via Canada Post or UPS. GST/HST is automatically added to all Canadian orders.
We will accept International orders from most countries. We can ship to you via Mail or UPS. Duties and brokerage charges may be assessed by your country’s customs service and the shipping company.
We can combine multiple orders into a single shipment on request to reduce the cost of shipping. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like two or more of your orders combined.
To expedite an order, please send an email message to email@example.com. We will do our very best to respond to your expedition request within 1 business day.
A refused shipment occurs when the customer refuses to accept the package during a delivery attempt. Customers who refuse delivery, and who do not contact Luxeon Star LEDs to obtain proper return instructions may be assessed a fee to cover return shipping and restocking costs. These fees will be deducted from any credit due to the customer for returned items.
You may cancel any unshipped (non-custom) order without penalty.
If your order has already been shipped, you may return the order for a full refund less any shipping charges and payment fees. Orders over US $100.00 (USD) that have been shipped may subject to a re-stocking fee. Refund payments are only provided when we have received the returned items.
