The LED module should be as close as possible to the driver—ideally within a few inches.
If you need to mount the driver some distance from the LED, use a gauge of wire suitable for handling the drive current.
The driver must be within 6″ of the LED for strobing application to maintain accurate timing.
Power supply wires to the driver should also be kept as short as possible. If the power source is more than 18″ from the driver, a 220uF 50V electrolytic capacitor should be put across the input terminals.
